Will’s storytelling is driven by emotional truth. Shaped by years in documentary and improvised theatre, he gravitates toward intimate, human-centred narratives that reveal authenticity on screen. Though his focus now leans toward narrative filmmaking, his instinct for capturing raw, genuine emotion continues to shape his TVC work. A heartfelt sensibility, elevating commercial stories with a distinct honesty and depth. Will also finds inspiration in his annual ritual of revisiting Jaws, Lawrence of Arabia, and Bicycle Thieves.
“For me, storytelling is about people. What I love most are human stories, about connection and human contradictions. I like the thought that there’s good and bad in all of us, and what tingles my bum right now is finding those moments when we’re forced to choose between the two.”
